BOL CHILD is a nonprofit organization registered U/s 25 of the Companies Act. Our registered office is at Kalkaji, New Delhi. Our Corporate office is at Andheri East, Mumbai. BOL CHILD has acquired the 12AA and 80G Certificates from the Indian government for tax rebate to any donors.
Almost like a nickname, we like to call ourselves BOL, from the Hindi word 'Boli' which means, the 'voices or language'.
BOL CHILD has been working with children since 2009, even before it was officially registered. Initially, it was difficult for people to understand our exact nature of work as their imaginations were limited due to the orthodox methods of learning practiced in schools. But once they started seeing the wonderful artwork, short films, music and paintings the kids made with us, we had the support of volunteers from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and other cities to let us work with children in their communities and schools.
Gradually, the dream started taking shape, and now, we have a dedicated team of volunteers, executive committees, management team, researchers, designers, and well wishers on board.
